the fight

“keep my head above the water”

said my heart

but my mind said “no”

you can swim and find a log said my heart

“no, you would drown of fatigue finding one” said my mind

i dipped my head to see what is beneath

in a cloggy vision

i saw little fishes swimming around

the green plants trying to grab my feet

my mind said “see that fish, you are its dinner”

“No” said my heart ‘you are to eat your dinner home”

An angel she is

An angel she is

Her smile can take your breath away

A touch of her graceful hands

Brings you happiness

I have not seen a heart

So generous, like hers!

Among the humans

Oh she can flood you with her love!

She is my little sister

A divine gift from the almighty

The little legs that has grown

Is venturing a new world

Taking an unknown hand

A life to be shared with a face

That was hidden underneath

Veils of time

Oh this heart

Only if it could endure

The pain of such bereavement

Is our lives

Teaching us that

It’s painful to love?

Why is that we always have to lose?

To be torn apart from such love?

Why is that we are given a heart

That pains so easily?

An angel she is

Her wings have grown

Soon she will fly away

I’m standing under the rain of sadness

Drenched in it!

I sold my ticket to heaven

There he sits at the station
His fingers clasped
Waiting for his train
It’s been a long wait
He says to the passers by
I paid a fortune to buy this ticket
This is the ticket to heaven

Then he shows his golden ticket
Engraved in it is his name
Then he sees some others
With the same ticket
He goes to them
Say’s, our tickets are the same!
No! They say “it’s not”
Ours’ are different
Mine shines better than yours
And I paid more to get these
Your class is different
We are travelling in the superior class
Yours’ is lower

He wonders didn’t the seller say
“Everyone gets the same ticket?
And travels in the same class?”
Furious he throws the ticket
And again he takes it back
Sad, he sits there wondering
“What am I going to do with this?”
A man walks down to him
Says “sell me the ticket”
I will give you more than what you paid for
You will be richer than before
You don’t have to wait for the train
Sell me the ticket

Without thinking twice
He sells his ticket
Take this and free me from this wait
He says
“Here is what you asked for
More than you ever dreamed”
The man gives him the money and walks away

Then the ticket collector comes to him
Asks him for the ticket
And he replies
“I sold my ticket to heaven”
And in a distance he hears the train’s sound.

Crying for a laughter

closed inside his fist
she is trapped
crying for a laughter
her soul in agony
of broken dreams

inside the darkness
the light outside
fighting to be let in
she thinks of her broken wings

murky and dark
inside the clasp
his sweat pours out
drenching her

she is crying for a laughter
she looks up, not even a bit of light
again she buries her head twixt her legs
cries for laughter
her tears flows between his fingers

disgusted, he throws her
away she goes falls on the sand
face down on the hot sand
dries up her tears in an instant
she is free now but alone
she, still, is crying for a laughter
